We have tremendous respect for the truth, and we highly value the trust placed in us by all those we are in touch with. Our aim is to share our progress in social robotics and ensure that our words match our results. Honesty, for us, is a way of life and it requires us to ensure that what we do is coherent with what we believe.  

Rigor

We are committed to quality, excellence and the spirit of scientific enquiry. Our aim is to give social robots the place they deserve, which is much closer to Artificial Intelligence than to simple talking machines. Our work has an empirical, pragmatic focus and is aimed at providing practical applications.

Pioneering spirit

We are conscious that our project is a bold departure in a yet uncharted sector and we accept the challenge. We are attracted by the idea of opening doors, scanning new horizons, and seeking answers to questions that may not yet have any clear responses. We are principally motivated by the thought that this voyage may end up generating solutions that are useful for society.

 Tangible results

We are not content simply to generate scientific research tasks; we wish to complement them with added value. Our ambition is to achieve tangible, measurable results that result in applications to improve people’s quality of life. And we wish to do this within an ethical framework that is in line with our values and the universal human principles which endow life with dignity.
